- Sailing – The Mar Menor is a natural maritime arena catering for
sportsmen and women of all levels in the warm, safe waters. There are
numerous sailing, canoeing and diving clubs. We have teamed up with an
English couple who run a tuition and boat rental centre nearby and can
arrange sailing, windsurfing or canoeing on demand.
- Diving – There are some rocky points that appear above sea level and a
short distance from Cabo de Palos, this has created a Marine reserve. On
your journey you could see octopuses and sunken vessels that appear at a
depth of 30 meters A diving school is situated on the road to the lighthouse
at Cabo de Palos, which is at the start of the La Manga strip.
